From the investor's mind
One post worth your time, explained
Ishmohit Arora (SOIC)
@soicfinance · on X
Indian machine tool manufacturer Macpower CNC is facing an unusual hurdle, refunding 10 to 20 machine orders every month because supply and capacity constraints are preventing it from executing them on time. Writing on X, Ishmohit Arora of SOIC notes that the business is currently running at approximately 95% capacity utilization while holding a pending order book of ₹476 crore, which is up 36%, alongside a strong pipeline of ₹939 crore in bids. Driven by this heavy demand backlog, the company has raised its FY27 growth guidance to nearly 35% from its previous estimate of 30%. This scenario highlights a structural shift where the firm's main challenge is scaling up its production capacity quickly enough to absorb a booming industrial market rather than finding new customers.
