Jhunjhunwala described the partnership as 1 plus 1 equals 11. Practises what he calls terminal value investing, judging a business by what it is worth over a long arc rather than the next few quarters, and looking for megatrends, capable leadership and durable intangibles such as brand. Sells when the reason for owning a company stops being true, whether that is governance, capital allocation or valuation rather than price alone. Also founded the Trust Group, a financial services platform known for its debt capital markets franchise.
