In February 2024, Nippon India Mutual Fund purchased 7.97 lakh shares (0.62%) of Whirlpool of India when Whirlpool Mauritius Limited sold a 24% stake in its Indian unit. They further increased their stake to 7.26% by January 2026 through open market purchases.
