Established in 2001 through a demerger of the telecom division from Sterlite Industries, the company expanded into power transmission cables in 2006. It operates as the largest optical fiber cable manufacturer domestically and maintains a substantial presence in overseas markets, supplying critical infrastructure for telecommunications and energy networks.
