Nippon India Mutual Fund took a new position in United Spirits Limited, acquiring 90,46,876 shares for ₹1244.75 crore, representing a 1.24% stake. The shares were bought at an approximate price of ₹1375.80 apiece.

A subsidiary of global leader Diageo PLC, the company holds a commanding position in the domestic spirits market through its extensive distribution network, established brand recognition, and vertically integrated operations across production and retail channels.
