LIC decreased its stake in Shyam Metalics and Energy from 5.35% to 3.96%, selling 3,883,197 shares valued at ₹360.36 Cr at ₹928.35 apiece.
A vertically integrated steel manufacturer, Shyam Metalics produces iron pellets, sponge iron, TMT bars, long steel products, and ferro alloys for construction and industrial applications. The company also generates its own power to support operations. Its integrated production model enables control across the entire value chain from raw material processing to finished steel products delivery.
