3P India Equity Fund, which previously held a 1.02 percent stake in West Coast Paper Mills Limited, has dropped off the latest list of disclosed shareholders, indicating either a complete exit or a reduction in its holding below the 1 percent reporting threshold.
One of India's oldest and largest paper manufacturers, West Coast Paper produces high-quality papers for printing, writing, and packaging applications. Established in 1955, the company operates a mill in Dandeli, Karnataka, and serves printing, publishing, stationery, notebooks, and packaging industries across India. Its products support diverse industrial sectors while contributing to national economic development and growth.
Launched May 2023 by 3P Investment Managers, managing around Rs 16,269 cr by January 2026, making it one of the fastest-scaling India equity AIFs ever. Managed by Prashant Jain, who ran HDFC Mutual Fund as CIO for 18 years (2004 to 2022) and is among India's most-followed long-only managers. Mohnish Pabrai is an anchor investor.
