Bandhan Mutual Fund trimmed its stake in The South Indian Bank Limited from 4.75% to 4.70%, selling 14,10,626 shares for ₹6.47 Cr at ₹45.88 apiece.
A private sector bank established in 1929, South Indian Bank was the first scheduled bank among private banks in Kerala and has maintained a strong presence across south India. The bank provides retail and corporate banking services, debit card offerings, third party financial product distribution, and treasury and foreign exchange operations to its customer base.
Formerly IDFC Mutual Fund, rebranded after Bandhan Financial Holdings acquired IDFC's AMC in 2023. Manages over Rs 1.5 lakh crore.
