Tata AIA Life Insurance bought 8,830,160 shares of Apollo Tyres Limited, representing a 1.39% stake, for ₹38.03 Cr at ₹430.65 apiece.
An established manufacturer of tyres and rubber products, Apollo produces automatic bias and radial tyres, tubes, and related components for various vehicle segments. Operating manufacturing facilities across multiple locations in India, the company serves both original equipment manufacturers and the replacement market through its diverse product portfolio. Its brands cater to two-wheeler, light truck, passenger car, and farm vehicle segments, addressing transportation and agricultural requirements across the domestic market.
