LIC decreased its stake in National Aluminium Company Limited from 1.94% to 1.67% by selling 4,969,500 shares. The value of the shares sold was ₹198.9 Cr at a price of ₹400.50 apiece.

Incorporated in 1981, the company operates across mining, refining, and smelting operations, controlling the entire value chain from bauxite extraction to finished aluminium. Its vertical integration and captive mining assets distinguish it within India's aluminium sector.
