BNP Paribas increased its stake in Sterlite Technologies from 1.33% to 1.77%, raising its shareholding from 6,481,669 to 9,119,285 shares. The value of the additional 2,637,616 shares is approximately ₹146 crore, based on the current share price of ₹554.35.

A manufacturer of optical fiber and optical fiber cables serving India's telecom and power transmission sectors. Established in 2001 through a demerger of the telecom division from Sterlite Industries, the company expanded into power transmission cables in 2006. It operates as the largest optical fiber cable manufacturer domestically and maintains a substantial presence in overseas markets, supplying critical infrastructure for telecommunications and energy networks.
