Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance bought 2.5 lakh shares of Gland Pharma Limited for ₹70.67 Cr at ₹2,826.60 apiece in a block deal.

A vertically integrated injectable-focused pharmaceutical company, Gland Pharma develops, manufactures, and markets complex injectables for global markets across the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, and India. Established in Hyderabad in 1978, the company operates on a business-to-business model and serves customers in over 60 countries worldwide. Known for its expertise in complex injectable formulations, it maintains a strong presence across the value chain. Gland Pharma is promoted by Shanghai Fosun Pharma, a global pharmaceutical major.

Wholly owned subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank. Crossed Rs 1 lakh crore in AUM in November 2025, the 25th year of operations, with a 19% CAGR since 2010. CIO Radhavi Deshpande joined from Kotak Mahindra Bank's proprietary trading desk in April 2021 and runs a disciplined large and midcap equity book.
